The LaserPLUS detector provides a highly sensitive, highly reliable form of aspirating or air monitoring detection. It detects fire at the earliest possible stage and reliably measures very low to extremely high concentrations of smoke. The Cheetah fire suppression control panel fire suppression control panel can be configured to communicate directly with one or more LaserPLUS detectors via a bi-directional, fully supervised communication with a High Level Interface (HLI). This configuration provides an integrated approach to system operation by providing each LaserPLUS air sampling detector the same functionality as a Cheetah photo, ion, or heat detector. And the LaserPLUS detector is UL, FM, and ULC Approved.

The air sampling Display Module provides a real-time indication of the status of a VESDA LaserPLUS Detector. This audio / visual impact module includes a 20-segment vertical bar graph, a two-digit numerical display, an audible sounder, and clear alarm and fault indicators. For functionality in early warning fire detection, this unit has four pushbuttons to control the detector and mode of the display.

VESDA LaserPLUS Display Module

The Programmer Module allows modification of the settings of a VESDA LaserPLUS air sampling system. Using an intuitive menu system, commissioning and maintenance of the air monitoring equipment becomes quite convenient and efficient. The programmer module is the access tool to the individual parameters on the LaserPLUS detectors / displays while also facilitating the configuration and maintenance of many detectors connected by VESDAnet.
